Untuk ulasan ke-2 saya mengambil topik dari week03 yaitu BIOS, BOOT, dan Systemd. Saya mengulas video yang di post dari channel Pocketnow . Video yang dipost pada tanggal 4 September 2012 ini telah disaksikan sebanyak 34.195 ribu orang. Isi dari video berfokus pada penjelasan Apa itu kernel?, sesuai dengan judul dari video ini "Android Power User: What is Kernel?". Pemilik video mengawali dengan penjelasan secara metafora apa itu kernel untuk memudahkan ilustrasi dari kernel. Dilanjutkan dengan penjelasan dari wikipedia yang pada intinya kernel adalah komponen utama pada sebuah computer operating system. Kernel membantu "menjembatani" aplikasi pada komputer dengan data process yang terjadi pada hardware. Tidak semua proses bisa masuk/diterima kernel. Hal ini dilakukan agar komputer tidak melakukan hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan(virus dll). Hanya proses - proses tertentu yang memiliki privilege untuk melewati kernel. Ulasan pertama saya membahas topik dari week08 yaitu CPU scheduling. Saya mengambil materi atau penjelasan dari channel  Gate Lectures by Ravindra   yang berjudul " Non Preemptive Priority Scheduling ". Video yang dipublikasikan pada 20 November 2014 ini memiliki durasi 7:57 detik ini dan sudah dilihat 106.107 ribu orang.  Dalam video dijelaskan mengenai Non Preemptive Priority Scheduling. Algoritma ini memberikan prioritas pada setiap proses yang akan dijalankan. Sebuah proses bisa memiliki prioritas yang berbeda. Dalam Non Preemptive Priority Scheduling, sebuah proses dengan prioritas yang lebih tinggi tidak langsung dijalankan oleh program. Ketika sedang berjalan suatu proses, maka program hanya akan memulai proses baru ketika proses yang sedang berjalan telah selesai. Video ini dapat membantu pemahaman dalam proses non preemptive priority scheduling. Sehingga kita bisa lebih memahami jalannya program.
